Luck is What Happens When You Stop Interfering With Life
You know that feeling when everything clicks. A conversation leads somewhere unexpected and perfect. An opportunity appears out of nowhere and feels like it was meant for you. A decision you almost talked yourself out of turns out to be the right one.
Most people call that luck.
In Human Design it has another name.
The quote at the heart of this work is from Ra Uru Hu, the founder of Human Design. He said, “Luck is what happens when you stop interfering with life.”
That is the whole thing in one sentence.
You may have spent years trying to engineer the right outcome. Researching. Pros and cons lists. Asking five different people for their opinion. Pushing for the result your mind decided you needed. And then watching it not quite land.
That is not a willpower problem. That is what happens when you make decisions from the wrong part of yourself.
Your Human Design has two tools built in for navigating life: your Strategy and your Authority. Your Strategy is how your energy is meant to engage with the world. Your Authority is how you are meant to make decisions. When you follow both, you stop interfering. Things start to move the way they were already going to move, with you on the inside of them instead of pushing from the outside.
What changes when you stop interfering is not the world. The world stays the same. What changes is what you notice.
You notice the opportunity you would have walked past. You notice the person who was already trying to find you. You notice the door that was already open. You start hearing yes from places you did not even know you had asked.
This is what synchronicity actually is. Not magic. Not fortune. Just what becomes visible when you stop trying so hard to control every variable.
I think of these as quantum surprises. The unexpected ways things turn out better than I could have planned them. They started showing up when I stopped trying to plan them.
